This painting was created for a lovely client who now lives abroad.  He wanted a painting of the castle in Skye that was important to him when he lived in Scotland.

The painting was carefully wrapped and posted all the way to the Middle East.

I have shown some of the progress images as I worked on the painting.  I always start with the sky and work down.    I really enjoyed working on this painting.  I e mailed the progress shots to my client and we even had some phone calls to discuss bits of the painting as it progressed.    What's App is amazing - making it so easy to chat with people wherever they are in the world.
