Orkney Cottage     This is a perfect example to show that commissioning a painting can be very affordable.

My client wanted a small oil painting of a lovely cottage  in Orkney.

The canvas board is only 21 x 15cm (approx 8 x 6inches)

He sent me a photo and explained that he wanted a blue sky and more colourful fields.

Here are the stages of the painting.    I love working with clients and sharing the creation of the painting.    Comments are always welcome and I value the input from clients - sometimes making changes along the way.

This small canvas was unframed - and once the paint was dry it was carefully packaged and posted to my customer.
